Sacrament of Reconciliation
It was interesting that Archbishop Malcolm chose to focus much of his homily at the chrism Mass on this great sacrament, which so few of us take advantage of. In this Year of Mercy it would be good if more of us made a commitment to avail ourselves of God’s mercy in this sacrament, not just during Advent and Lent but regularly throughout the year. Canon MacNally and Fr. Joe will always make themselves available to hear your confession. Perhaps this could be one way we could know and share God’s mercy more deeply.
